shall blog only about the happy stuff.munmun posted on my facebook wall early in the morning (during my chem lesson) saying "tomorrow's tomorrow's tomorrow!" hahahaha! really looking forward to the trip.
looking forward to seeing the two most impt women in my life again. haven't seen my sis since she left in january. and my mum since start of june. and of course.. casper and pika!
mum's carrying casper (on top) and sis's carrying pika (bottom) casper's mine but i heard he's hyperactive and super naughty! oh and they're brothers but casper resembles the dad more:) dad's shih tzu and mum's maltese.
and of course i'm gonna surprise someone special tmr :) plus buy things for my mum =.=
and i plan to finish exam papers tmr! :)

life so far
hasn't been good to me.though i studied hard for prelims (i know it's not very hard) but the results hasn't been telling of how much i studied. idk what's wrong! >.<
either i'm too stupid or sgedu it just too hard. idk why we must learn uni stuff in jc. can't believe that the math subjects papers (both) in satII only require one chapter from our h2 math syllabus.. and it's only a tiny proportion of the tests.. plus it's one of the easier topics! and i gave up attempting to attempt the physics or chemistry paper lest i start complaining after i attempt those papers.
can't wait to get away from this stressful place and period. nine more days! and i'll be away from s'pore for a week. of course i'll bring work to do and i think that i'd be more productive over there cause i'll have my beloved dining table which accompanied me through olevels and promos! maybe i shld bring the mind-boggling subjects like econs and chem over and think them through with the fresh air, the quietness and peace, and my favourite dining (study) table and of course.. the new environment.
nine more days!
really can't wait for this week to pass.

prelims part two
has been a rollercoaster ride.. but generally a disastrous one. i think the physics department hates me a lot. but i really wanna do well for physics. gonna mug super hard for physics.. and everything else.but meanwhile, it's a two day break. but i have so much to do! will be busy like a bumble bee on both days ):
went out with vivien today. watched johnny english! it was funny and shocking at some parts that i was covering my (gaping) mouth and vivien even asked me if i was okay. i think i seem as though i was hyperventilating. cause she knows i can't take horror movies! (imagine if we watched the horror movie!) so during shocking parts, i will still be.. well.. shocked. but anw the movie was sooooooooo funny! everyone should watch it. good emotional rollercoaster-inducer! we were so absorbed into the movie that we barely ate half of the popcorn! :)
lunch-ed at mfm (my 3rd time!) and they flamed the dory fish in front of us! i was like O.O while in awe. so cool! food was gooooood:) and worth it! first time not eating fish & chips in mfm :)
walked and walked and walked. saw filming for a new mediacorp drama! (totally should have camera-bombed) walked till all our food digested and we went for mos! but well it was mainly a drink. sat and talked and stoned. but i enjoyed myself very much. got high approx an hour before we parted cause i started hunting for things for scrapbooks. i think i found a new hobby.
anw idk why some people can just be so.. idk.. indifferent to how others feel. just feel so unvindicated and unreciprocated. it was supposed to be a simple affair but they made it bigger and bigger till i was so hyped up and then boom, it goes to naught. like huh? i was really taken aback at the sudden change. not gonna do the same thing again lest they pull the same stance.
meeting up with clarine tomorrow:) that dear girl has taken leave specially to accompany me tomorrow.
gonna develop photos for the scrapbooks! :) :)
anw my great day (except for physics) was wrecked in the evening. now i'm at a loss. on one side, it's the right thing. on the other side, it's something that i really want to do.
i need dance.

prelims here we go.
six papers this week and one paper next week and then i'm done with prelims.math paper 1, chem paper 3, econs paper 1, physics paper 3, math paper 2, chem paper 1&2, physics paper 1.
19sept 19sept 19sept quick come!
but till then, i'm going on a hiatus.
apart from facebook and twitter i guess:)
then 20sept and 21sept i shall grant myself the time to run all the necessary errands for my mum and relatives.
then it's time to pack my luggage!
5weeks to graduation.. as josephine mentioned on twitter.

different lives
some people are born with a silver spoon, they have everything under the sun.some people have lady luck shining on them, everything will turn out the way they want them to be.
some people lead a charmed life, their journey to success is more than just smooth-sailing.
i don't have any of that.
but i shall not wallow in self-pity.. i will work hard for all that i want.
but other people have the best of friends in the world. and i proudly say that i'm one of them.
i have friends who will ignore their calendar and make it for my performances no matter what. even if it's skipping cca, leaving early, coming alone.
i have friends who will purposely take leave on the days that i'm free and will be going shopping for things i need, to accompany me and spend time with me cause they know that i'll be migrating soon and want to grab every chance.
i have friends who will drop everything they're doing just to speak with me on the phone when i'm down.
i have friends whom i know are behind me and support me in my decisions, even when my parents were against them.
i have friends whom i can trust completely, just be myself in front of them. i can go crazy with them, cry until i look like a pig, laugh until i curl up on the floor etc.
and i have friends who will be the first to put their arms around me the moment my nose turns red.
i also have friends who in that split second, know that i'm lost and i'm panicky, and will put their arms round my shoulder and guide me to safety. eg when i can't see anything.
you all know who you are. and i just wanna say that i love you all a lot :)

finally!
finally! i get to watch crescent's syf piece for this year.the only word i can use to describe this is.. captivating!
it's like Hope and Vitality combined:) there are some elements of each dance in this piece and all three songs were from the same album:)
it's very nice! :)
even su laoshi commented on the video on youtube!

last teacher's day visit to IJ!
i rushed from nj to ij on thursday and i enjoyed my time there:)met a lot a lot of teachers! met mrs ong, whom i didn't get to take a photo with): i will go back to ij one fine day to take one:)
met 吴老师! my dearest chinese teacher who taught me when i was primary one. that was 11years ago!
got her contact number to keep-in-touch in future. she said that she's very touched that we came back to visit! she taught nik when she was in pri5 and 6 so that was about 7-8 years ago.
and she remembers that my chinese was good! (i know it isn't now) and said that nik's chinese was terrible!
awww man. love her to bits and pieces.
ms lim! she said i looked different and i went "you look different too!" she has slimmed down SO MUCH. almost couldn't recognise her!
anw i was her first AV/IT head and clarine was the vice-head. those were the days when the teachers will come knocking and looking for us. and whenever there was a huge event such as thanksgiving day mass, year-end concert, musical this and that.. we get to pon class to set up:) whether for dry run or for actual. hahahaha huge excuse and proud of it:)
mrs ang! our discipline mistress. funny thing is that we were super scared of her while we were pupils and when we graduate, we love her so so so much. same for other girls who came back to visit! i rmb her spot-checks used to taunt me a lot. and when we were running along the corridors, she'd stand there and point at us and we'd immediately stop and walk. she'd always go "walk like ladies!" unlike now, where they'd run in the opposite direction (and so she says) she even did the "point her finger" action and oh gosh it's still the same! :) :)
she has never taught me, but still seems like she does. same for mrs lewis, miss ng, ms ponni, mrs mahani, cikgu aniza etc etc i forgot alr. AV/IT is a good job:)
nik: "is there tap today?"
evelyn: "yea.. it's thursday.. ms jackie's supposed to teach if there is today! but i don't think there is.. teacher's day celebration! school ends at 2 isn't it?!"
TURNS OUT THERE WAS TAP. happy ttm!
while nik and i were walking around, gracia caught us and told us ms jackie was by the piano! we decided to hide and wait while she finish her phonecall then go on the surprise her but we walked up to her in the end.
i cried after i hugged her! i missed her sooooooooooooo much!
i would see her on the huge screens at chingay, ndp but never once did i see her in flesh!
we went back to terrorize our juniors.. or descendants as nik puts it. and we did grade3 combi (in the video below) and our grade4 warmups for the primary 2s cause ms jackie wants them to aim for it. but they are still struggling with grade3 so probs have to wait.
nik (graduated in 2004), ms jackie, i graduated in 2005 and gracia (2008)
anyway, i'm thankful that i managed to see, talk and dance with this dearest dearest dearest instructor of mine. i rmb she came when i was in primary 2 (nik was pri3) and we were so happy cause we hated the previous instructor (i have no memory of her) cause we did boring stuff! and we had so many people the tiny stage couldn't fit us all!
took bus together and the three of us alighted at rail mall while ms jackie continued on to her zumba class. she then msged me (cause she didn't have the numbers of the other two) and said that this was her best teacher's day ever! this was also my best teacher's day ever cause i managed to meet so many teachers at ij. and most imptly, i managed to meet ms jackie and tap with her again! i'll try to fetch my tap shoes from aust in oct and if i can't.. i'll try to borrow!
and while on the note of tap, my first ever partner, the other one who stuck it out till the very end even when everyone from our batches have left tap. she said that there'll be no one to visit ij with her next tdc alr! but there'll still be ckoo and gracia okay! :)

my last mid-autumn festival celebration!
so wednesday i went to nanhua for mid-autumn festival celebration.well the unhappy part included nhds and nhds only but oh well, not for me to say anymore. but laoshi did reprimand the juniors. though i think the sec3s shldn't be so obsessed with their batch and neglect everything else or else you all will end up like.. anw i was super pissed with them cause they had zero sense of responsibility. minus natalie of course. probs won't go back to visit anymore and if i do, it will only be for laoshi and ms tan before i fly.
anw the happy stuff! i managed to meet a lot of people whom i really love!
yiting! meeting her made me the most happy that night.
yiting's an ex-HODG! it's like yiting, qihui, xinyu, deborah, evelyn! so when i came in, she alr left! but i'm pretty close to her cause that time she came back with qihui during ayg prac at nanhua pri and they talked to me about lots of stuff :)
shuyun! she surprised me!
i knew she would be coming back but it's just that idk when. i was busy in the alumni room and suddenly someone ran and grabbed me on the shoulders! met her through chingay 2008 and i didn't know we can grow to be this close:)
seniors!
cheeyew! vice-chair of the batch who led nhds to it's peak!
the seniors said that my batch was like theirs HOHOHO what an honour:) and his classic "it's been a long day.." after every single syf practice! oh gosh.. those were the days.. where we fought our hearts out and dared to try everything cause everyone was there for everyone.
i also saw lihuan, siying, gladys, kaiwen, alvin and i forgot who alr!
sisters! celia, luhong, joanne, rachel, yilin, linda!
for once, i'm taller than luhong and celia! (they squatted.. but still!)
brothers! nicholas and tianjun! i also saw benedict, leon, wenxuan, douglas but didn't take photo with them!
nicholas was the nanhua bear for the night and i had to protect him for a while cause people will pull his skirt! he wore a guy shirt and a skirt so people were wondering if it was a guy or girl! and yes nicholas has to grow fatter cause the skirt was too loose!
oh gosh tianjun's shirt is very apt.
and of course! i rushed from nj to see ms tan! but she went for a medical checkup instead and wasn't back till 5plus.
i also saw laoshi! and meiman laoshi! talked to them about the current nhds, about my australia stuff. though meiman laoshi has never taught me, it felt like she has taught me for as long as laoshi and ms tan have:)
all in all, i enjoyed my last MAF in nanhua :) :)
met loads of people:) :)
